Item Description:
A chance to get up close and personal with two of D.C.'s most watched stars; go out to dinner with former Washington Redskin Art Monk, and bring Top Chef Finalist Bryan Voltaggio into your home to cook dinner for you and your friends.

Art Monk is a three time super bowl champion. He was also selected to the pro bowl for three consecutive years in the mid-80's. In 2008, Art was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Art will meet your table of 6 at the Capital Grille in Tyson's Corner for a Chef's dinner and will present the winning bidder with an autographed football.

Bryan Voltaggio is the Chef/Partner of Volt in Frederick, Maryland. He was the runner up of the sixth season of Bravo's wildly popular show Top Chef, and was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2009. Chef Voltaggio will come into your home to personally construct a fabulous tasting menu paired with wine for 8 people.

Restrictions:
Auction item includes food, wine, equipment, service, and an autographed football. Dinner with Art Monk will be on a mutually agreed upon date, and should take place before Sept. 24th 2011. Dinner in your home prepared by Chef Bryan Voltaggio will be on a mutually agreed upon date between February 24th 2011 and February 24th 2012.

Carla Hall was a finalist on season 5 of Bravo's electrifying show Top Chef. As the Executive Chef of Alchemy Caterers, Carla will join your group of eight in your home so that you too will be able to experience the cooking "with love" that she came to be known for while competing on Top Chef.

Ted Danson, perhaps best known for his character "Sam" on the hit television show Cheers, and currently starring in the HBO series Bored to Death. JetWAY Private Air will be picking you up at a Washington, D.C. area airport and will be whisking you to a New York City area airport where your private chauffer will take you to meet Ted so that he can entertain your group of six at his favorite New York City restaurant.

Enjoy dinner for 6 at 2941 Restaurant. As the 2010 winner of the Rammy for "Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year", you are sure to be amazed by the menu and wine that Chef Bertrand Chemel will prepare for you. Recently transplanted from New York City where he had been the Chef de Cuisine at Café Boulud, Bertrand has continued to dazzle diners here in the Washington, D.C. area. His expertise in the kitchen isn't going unnoticed as he was a 2010 Rammy nominee for Best Chef.

Restrictions:
Auction item for NYC will include airport transportation to and from area airports, as well as the private flight from and to area airports. Area airports are subject to JetWAY selection and include Dulles and Manassas for the D.C. area and Teterboro, N.J. or White Plains, N.Y. for the New York area. It will also include the food and wine at the restaurant in New York. The New York culinary experience will be on a mutually agreed upon date and time between March 1, 2011 and June 30, 2011 and must be booked on dates that do not fall on a major peak travel day (i.e. holidays). Limousine service will be reimbursed up to $500, any additional charges will be the responsibility of the donor. The NYC culinary experience will be reimbursed up to $250 per person, any additional charges will be the responsibility of the donor. Reservations for the 2941 Restaurant will need to be made on an available night and is valid through September 24, 2011.

Eight Courses, Eight Wines for Eight People, and the winner gets to spend the night in the Presidential Suite, the Eight Thousand Dollar Room at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C.

Eric Ziebold was named one of the "10 most influential Chefs working in America" by Forbes.com, he won the James Beard Award in 2008 for "Best Chef Mid-Atlantic," and his restaurant CityZen is the only Triple A-5 Diamond restaurant in Washington, D.C. Prior to his tenure in town, he worked for eight years at The French Laundry in Napa Valley, California. From his time in California, Chef Ziebold was able to bring to D.C. an amazing collection of both highly coveted and some little known California wines. Some of the wineries featured on this exquisite night will be: Peter Michael, Littorai, Colgin, and Harlan to name a few. It is sure to be an incredibly unique food and wine experience.
